When you contact us by email, book a call with us, or work with us, the information you provide to us, such as your name and contact details – including, but not limited to, your company, job title, email address, and work phone number – is collected by Firefinch Marketing Limited (the “data controller”). Current legislation describes this information as Personal Information, the control and processing of which is covered by the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
The Personal Information we collect is used to provide you with the products and services which we have contracted to provide to you or to your organisation, and for internal analytics to assist us in improving our products and services.
You are not required to provide Personal Information to us, but without it, you may have difficulties accessing our services.
If you pass us a song on our Pass Me a Song page, we store the song, the artist, the feeling you chose and, if you add them, your reason and your name. These are shown publicly on that page. To prevent spam, we also keep a scrambled code made from your connection details for no more than 24 hours; we never store your IP address itself. You can ask us to remove your song at any time at privacy@firefinchmarketing.com. Songs, and any name you add, stay on that page until you ask us to remove them or we close the page.
When you consent to the terms of our Privacy Notice, you also agree that we may provide you, from time to time, with information about new and existing services. You are free at any time to notify us if you decide that you no longer wish us to use your Personal Information for these purposes. Please contact us at privacy@firefinchmarketing.com.
We will only hold Personal Information for as long as there is a business purpose to do so, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). Apart from songs passed on our Pass Me a Song page (see above), no purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than 6 months.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

We use FL1 Digital to understand how visitors use the Website. FL1 Digital does not use cookies. Instead, it recognises returning visitors from a combination of your IP address, browser, operating system and operating system version. FL1 Digital processes this information on our behalf, and we use the resulting reports only to see how the Website is used and to improve it. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the Website.

Controls for do-not-track features
