Build it right, or fix what’s there.

Most teams I meet have plenty going on (posts, events, campaigns); what’s missing is the system that connects it all to sales.

I work with founders and leadership teams in two situations: building from zero, or fixing what’s there.

Either way, it starts the same way.

The Marketing Diagnostic

First, I map how your leads move today

Every engagement starts with a conversation. Sometimes that’s all it takes: an hour to get clear on the situation and what needs to happen next. Sometimes there’s more to look at: how leads come in, what happens to them in your CRM, and what’s working, which usually takes 1–2 weeks.

Either way, the scope is agreed before anything starts. No unnecessary process. No assumptions about what’s broken before I’ve looked.

Two ways in

Starting from zero

Building a marketing function that’s set up to grow.

If you don’t have senior marketing in place yet, the risk is that the wrong things happen and you build on shaky foundations.

I set up the function properly from the start: the strategy, the team structure, the tools and automation, and how marketing works with sales and product.

This is right for you if:

  • You’re building a marketing function for the first time
  • You have a junior resource but no senior direction
  • You need systems and processes as well as a plan

Fixing what’s there

Making your marketing work harder with the budget and team you already have.

If marketing is running but not delivering, the problem is usually one of three things: it’s disconnected from sales, it’s not automated or structured well enough to scale, or the positioning isn’t sharp enough to convert. Sometimes all three.

I work closely with sales, product and tech teams, which means I can find the gaps that pure marketing consultants miss, and build solutions that actually get used.

This is right for you if:

  • Pipeline is soft, and you’re not sure why
  • Sales and marketing are telling different stories
  • You have budget constraints and need to prioritise hard
  • Marketing has grown without a clear structure behind it

Ways to work with me

Structured around what you actually need

Depending on what that first conversation shows, engagements usually take one of these shapes:

What clients usually ask

A plant beside a laptop on a desk

Who do you work with?

B2B tech, fintech, financial and professional services firms. I typically work with founders, CEOs or MDs at scale-ups and growing SMEs without a senior marketing hire in place yet.

Many of the teams I support are stretched for bandwidth and need experienced leadership to move priority work forward without adding headcount.

What services do you offer?

Interim/fractional leadership, marketing function build/reset, campaign/project delivery. Hands-on across strategy, ops, tools and execution to connect everything to revenue.

Do you work with our existing team?

Always. The goal is a team that can run things without me.

What types of engagement do you offer?

I work flexibly and can combine different formats depending on your needs:

  • Fractional: from 1 day per month up to 3 days per week
  • Project-based: typically 2–12 weeks
  • Interim: usually 3–12 months

These can be mixed, for example, starting with a project and continuing part-time or fractionally.

How long do engagements usually last?

It depends on the scope and level of involvement:

  • Projects: typically 2–12 weeks
  • Function builds: varies by maturity and goals (often a few months)
  • Leadership / interim roles: from a few months up to a year

All engagements are milestone-driven, with clear goals and review points.

Remote or on-site?

I’m London-based and happy to work in person when it adds value. For teams outside London, I work remote-first.

How does pricing work?

It depends on scope and the level of involvement needed. All engagements start with a diagnostic, so we both know what we’re solving before agreeing on anything.

What’s it like to work together?

Clear priorities, no jargon, measurable results. I focus on strategies that work within your existing tools and processes, and build systems your team can run independently long after I step away.
